Brother printer? I have a brother all in one printer, it does fax, copy, scan, and print. It worked great until we had to change the ink for the first time. Now after we changed the ink the colors don't work at all and the black, well you have to clean the ink first to get it to work otherwise it just prints blank sheets. Does anyone know whats going on with our printer or how to fix it?
we changed all of them and we did it at a refill place, so they shouldn't be bad.

tyty replied: "To prevent the printer showing "error" or “not recognize” when installing a new cartridge, please try to follow these instructions below:
1) Turn on the printer; take out the cartridge
2) Turn off the printer for a few minutes
3) Turn on the printer, when it says "insert inks", and then insert the cartridge, making sure the cartridge is sitting completely in the slot.
Please shake the toner many times.
Also, if you have a drum kit in your printer, please also check the drum kit and re-install the drum kit."
Brian D replied: "Open the front and rear covers, then press and hold GO until alll the leds go yellow, the drum led is reset. Of course, don't do this unless you really want to reset
the drum light and your drum is stil in good condition. or Power off machine. Open front cover. While holding go button down power up machine holding go button until only 3 lights are lit (about 15 seconds). Press go button 2 times. Wait 20-30 seconds then press go button 5 times. 31 hits, pick you posion..." How to print on a Brother printer? I am unsure how to print on a Brother printer. In the user manual, it says to look at the CD-ROM which was supplied, but my computer failed to recognize it. Anyone know how to print?
